Valentine's Day is getting close and everyone is talking about love. The stores have been decorated since December 26th (it seems) all with red and pink hearts. Flowers, candy, and cards are all displayed in order to entice you to purchase them for your loved ones. These are great. It's always important to show your family and friends how you feel about them.
But, aren't we forgetting something?
What about God's love?
I have put together some of the verses in the Bible that show us just how much God loves each and every one of us. You can print these out on card stock paper and play the Memory Game with them.
You remember the Memory Game, right? That where you put all of the cards face down and try to find a pair.
The trick to this game is that on one card you will have the Bible verse while on the other card you will have the Bible reference. For example, on one card you will find "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life." And then on the card that is its pair will say, "John 3:16". Get it? Got it? Good!
For your convenience, I have also provided a "cheat sheet", if you will, of the 6 Bible verses included in the game.
Now go print it and have fun learning Bible Verses about God's love. You might even want to print a set of cards out for each of your kids so they can have their own set to play.
