Can you believe that the new year is in one day? We spend so much time preparing for Christmas that New Years Day sneaks up on us. We have been dealing with sickness this week and so it really has caught me by surprise.

Our oldest was telling me today that he doesn't get the whole thing about New Years. I get what he's talking about. He doesn't understand why everyone has huge parties and get crazy. I don't understand that either.

But, I do like thinking about the new year. It's like a new start. A fresh start. Those are great. I love fresh starts. We can put the past behind us and start anew.

What do you want to put behind you? What will you start?
