The Boy Who Cried Wolf - Grandma's Reading Corner

March 10, 2017

We have talked about this book many times in our household. We use it's lesson to teach our boys about what happens when they lie.

This is a great story to tell and retell your children. When children lie, they don't realize that it breaks the trust of those who they lie to. That is a very serious things that they need to understand.

Have your children listen to Grandma reading the story below and then talk about what happened when the boy really did see a wolf.

Discuss how that same thing (not that there's a wolf - but you get what I'm saying, right?) happens when they lie. The person isn't going to believe them when there really is a problem.

If you'd like to purchase the book, there are many versions. Below I have listed a couple of them. (affiliate links are included)
