Well, school has started back full swing and the weather should be cooling down - a little - right? It probably won't drop temps here where I live for a couple of months, but a girl can dream, right?
Anyways, I have been wanting to get back into yoga lately, but have a hard time ACTUALLY doing it. I have great intentions. I even put it on my calendar. Other things seem to get in the way. At church this week, the preacher said, "You will make time for the things that are important to you." Well, obviously exercising isn't important to me, but it should be. I always feel better when I do some yoga consistently. It really helps my joints (which seem to be always hurting).
It's funny to me that "strengthening my body" was this month. I know I've said it before in this series, but God is funny that way. I made this list of what I was going to focus on each month for this year, and just about each month it really is on par with what I need that month.
So this is going to be short and sweet. Here is the Bible verse that this verse comes from:
She girds herself with strength
And makes her arms strong.
The Bible says it, so I guess it's important. All joking aside, it really is important to take care of our bodies and I'm going to make a definite effort to take care of mine starting this month.
