Meditate on the Word - "Esther: A Woman of Strength & Dignity" Book Study

Updated: 5 days ago

How was your January focus? Did you read about Ruth and how she was a woman of excellence? Was Ruth perfect? No. Will you ever be perfect? No. Can you try to do everything you do just a little bit better? Of course! Each time you do something, try to do it a little bit better than the last time.

Since I made "being a woman of excellence" as my January, and this year's focus, it has been on my mind. How can I be a woman of excellence? Somedays it was enough to get through the day and doing things with excellence was overwhelming. But it doesn't have to be that way.

Start by thinking about something that you struggle with. What is one thing that you can do better to make that less of a struggle? For example, are morning difficult for you? Get everything ready the night before so all you have to do is get up and get dressed. Do you dread cleaning? Set aside 30 minutes a day to do a little cleaning so that it doesn't take hours at one time. Is your laundry piling up? Do one load, start to finish, each morning.

February is here and we will be adding "Meditate on the Word" to our focus. We will be working on "Being a Woman of Excellence" along with this. Remember, each section builds on the last. Part of being a woman of excellence is to meditate on the Word - God's Word. God's Word will help us to be women of excellence.

Today is a great day because today is the day we are starting our very 1st book study! What better what to meditate on God's Word than to go through one of the books of His Word?

We will be going through the book Esther: A Woman of Strength & Dignity written by Charles Swindoll. This is a great book! The book of Esther is one of my favorite books in the the Bible and this book by Charles Swindoll really helps to see it in a wider view; giving history and cultural references so that we can really understand what is happening.

Click below to buy the book so you can have it while we are going through the study. (affiliate links are used)

We will be using this page as our landing page for each part of our study, so keep coming back here to get each section of our study. Each section will come out on Fridays starting today (February 3rd).

Below are the different sections of the book and study. When you see that the title below is colored pink, click on it to be able to print that section of the study.
